White Rice Ground Beef Recipes

Ground Beef with Haitian white rice

Ground Beef with Haitian white rice

Ingredients

1 pound of lean ground beef

1 cup of Jasmine rice

5 cups of water

2tbs of vegetable oil

Half of a green onion

1 Maggie Bouillon cube

1tsp of Goya Adobo

1tsp of Curry powder

1tsp of onion powder

1tsp of garlic powder

1tsp of salt

 

Preparation:

Rice- Place 1tbs of vegetable oil in a small deep pot. When hot place the green onion in the oil to fry. When brown add a tsp of salt and 2 cups of water. Let the water come to a boil and taste to make sure it has enough salt then place 1 cup of rice. Let the water dry and then place a napkin over the pot and then cover it while decreasing the heat to medium.

 

Ground Beef-  In a deep pot place the ground beef along with 3 cups of water. Add 1tbs of oil, bouillon cube, goya, curry powder, garlic powder, onion powder and let it boil down until water reduces. When done make sure ground beef is fully cooked and has enough flavor.

Place ground beef on top of white rice and enjoy.

    The photo of this recipe obviously shows peas and tomatoes in the ingredients, why aren’t they listed? What else might be missing?

      Thanks for stopping by, it’s not listed because it’s not the core of the meal you can have just about anything you want. I just wanted to put the basics on the list and you can alter it to meet your needs.
